Parasol Antwerp ("the app") is a free app that shows which terraces in Antwerp are in the sun in real time. We take your privacy seriously and collect as little data as possible.

Location Data

The app requests access to your device's location solely to center the map on your position. Your location is never stored, transmitted to any server, or shared with third parties. All location processing happens on-device.

Data We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. The app does not require an account and does not track you.

If you submit a terrace via the app, the following information is stored:

• Terrace name and address
• Geographic coordinates

No name, email, or other personal information is attached to submissions.

Analytics

The Parasol website (parasol-antwerp.com) uses Vercel Analytics to count page visits. This collects anonymised data such as page views and country — no cookies, no personal identifiers.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — stores terrace data (name, coordinates). Privacy policy
• Mapbox — provides map tiles and 3D rendering. Privacy policy

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
